Digital Marketing Manager

April 2021 - October 2022

I served as the Digital Marketing Manager for 501(c)3 nonprofit, Furkids Animal Rescue & Shelters. My responsibilities included, were not limited to email marketing, social media marketing, photography, videography, fundraising through social platforms, blog writing, and event marketing. I upheld their four brand pillars of Adopting, Fostering, Volunteering and Fundraising by contributing to our online presence. I also managed one, college-aged marketing intern during the summertime.

Furkids’ Email Marketing

I created, managed, co-designed and analyzed data for all email marketing campaigns using targeted messaging that encompasses Furkids’ four pillars: Adopting, Fostering, Volunteering, and Fundraising. Email campaigns targeted over 54,000 subscribers varying from adopters, volunteers, donors and sponsors. Since I took over email marketing, I helped increase the open rate from 17% to 35.1%, and the click rate from 0.7% to 1.8%. I also helped upgrade email services and aesthetic approaches. Furkids’ Social Media

I created, scheduled and oversaw both organic and paid social media advertising on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Since I took over the social media platforms, I attracted 2,550 new Instagram followers and 1,000 new Facebook followers. I also started a TikTok page to stay aligned with current trends, and worked with YouTube star, MrBeast, on a Beast Philanthropy Collaboration.
