Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

I currently serve on Children’s Child Advocacy Marketing team as a Marketing Coordinator. It’s my department’s job to be involved in all things community impact. Whether it’s creating resources for obesity prevention, injury and illness prevention, water safety, safe sleep for newborns, child protection initiatives, and more, we’re all about equipping caregivers, educators and early care professionals with the resources they need to raise healthy, safe and resilient kids. Our brand is called Strong4Life.

Internal Communications Intern, Summer 2019

During the summer between my junior and senior year at the University of Georgia, I interned with the Internal Communications Department at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Office Park in Atlanta, Georgia. During my 10 weeks at Children's, I had the opportunity to write several internal blog posts for the organization's intranet, compose one-pagers and memos and write a first-person perspective Inspiration Article for the internal magazine: Careforce Chronicle. Below is an inspiration piece I co-wrote for the Fall 2019 edition of the magazine, written from a first-person perspective.

My Internal Blog Posts, Presentations, and Projects with Children’s

During my internship, one of my primary duties was getting the opportunity to help write internal blog posts for the employee intranet: Careforce Connection. Blog topics ranged from nurse updates, employee features, fascinating miracle stories of patients or updates throughout different departments. Furthermore, I helped design work including posters for hospital lobby announcements and one-pagers that were also posted on the employee intranet. More samples and performance review available upon request.
